Chad Collins

CEO

Chad Collins is SPS Commerce’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of our board of directors since October 2023.

Chad was previously the Global Chief Executive Officer of Körber Supply Chain Software, where he set the strategy that shaped the direction of the business and empowered customer success.​

Chad has spent over 20 years in supply chain technology, building market-leading businesses and pushing what’s possible in supply chain solutions to enable customer innovation. He began his journey in the industry as a supply chain consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Before becoming a part of Körber, he was the President and CEO of HighJump, a global supply chain software company which was acquired by Körber in 2017.​

He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Marquette University and an MBA in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from the University of Minnesota.

Kim Nelson

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer at SPS Commerce since 2007, Kim Nelson is responsible for leading the company’s finance organization, including fostering relationships with bankers and research analysts and advancing the company’s financial strategy. Under her financial leadership, SPS Commerce held its initial public offering on April 21, 2010, and she continues to provide the insight, governance and strategy that drives the company’s growth.

As a result, SPS Commerce was named a 2015 Forbes Most Trustworthy Companies in America as a business most trusted by investors and shareholders. Kim was honored for her career achievement as a CFO of the Year by the Minneapolis/ St. Paul Business Journal in 2021.

Prior to joining SPS Commerce, she led Amazon’s investor relations department and held other financial leadership positions in financial planning, analysis and forecasting. Before Amazon, she held financial management positions at Pillsbury (now General Mills) and Nestle.

Kim has a Bachelor of Science in finance from Babson College, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.

Mike Svatek

Chief Product Officer

As Chief Product Officer, Mike Svatek is responsible for leading the product vision and execution for SPS Commerce, ensuring that our product roadmap aligns with market opportunities, customer demand, and our long-term goals.

Prior to joining SPS, Mike served as Chief Innovation Officer at Cart.com, the fastest growing digital and physical commerce enablement platform in the US, where he led their global innovation functions, including product, engineering, and strategic internal systems. Further, Mike was instrumental in building one of the world’s largest eCommerce networks, connecting thousands of the largest retailers and brands to drive more sales while Chief Product Officer at Bazaarvoice. With a background in software engineering, he has led product, development, and corporate strategy for top technology companies in the e-commerce, retail, and supply chain spaces for more than two decades.

Mike holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Texas McCombs School of Business and an MBA from the University of California, Berkley Haas School of Business.

Dan Juckniess

Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer

As chief revenue officer at SPS Commerce, Dan Juckniess is responsible for the company’s sales strategy for all SPS products across the full spectrum of customers in the SPS Retail Network and oversees the sales management and team.

Dan has more than 20 years of experience in executive and leadership roles spanning enterprise cloud services, educational technology and business information solutions. He excels in partnering with customers to understand their challenges and providing cloud-based solutions that deliver new efficiencies and business opportunities.

He has achieved substantial revenue growth and led transformative sales, customer service and marketing organizations for market leaders including Edmentum and Thomson Reuters.

Dan has a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and marketing from the University of St. Thomas.

Jamie Thingelstad

Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

As chief technology officer since 2013, Jamie Thingelstad leads the growth and development of the company’s technology platform, including its global product development teams and data center operations.

Prior to joining SPS Commerce, Jamie served as CTO/COO at 8thBridge, a social commerce startup, and as CTO for the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, as well as the enterprise division of Dow Jones. In these roles, he was responsible for platforms that served millions of users worldwide with 24/7 availability.

He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Twin Cities CIO of the Year Orbie Award, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Titans of Technology and is a frequent presenter at technology events.

Jamie attended the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology.

Erica Koenig

Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer

As chief human resources officer, Erica Koenig is responsible for growing, engaging and developing the company’s global workforce with a commitment to fostering a world-class employee experience through a culture of learning, equality and teamwork.

Prior to joining SPS in 2022, Erica was most recently an executive at UnitedHealthcare, the benefits business of UnitedHealth Group. She is a seasoned HR executive with over 25 years of global experience. Her strategic leadership expertise includes total rewards, HR analytics, talent management, leadership and employee development, organization design and development, global mobility and diversity. Her prior experience includes leadership roles at Ameriprise Financial and Ceridian.

Erica has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, social work and religion from Miami University of Ohio and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
