On Oct. 12, 2014, SPS Commerce announced its acquisition of Leadtec, a leading retail cloud services provider based in Australia. This acquisition significantly expands the presence of SPS Commerce in Australia and New Zealand, and strengthens our position as the world’s largest retail cloud service. As part of our global strategy, SPS Commerce will continue to invest and grow in this region.
Leadtec has established relationships with leading retailers in Australia that will accelerate our global presence and deliver significant value to our customers there. We’re enthusiastically welcoming their customers to our trading partner community, including approximately 500 new suppliers and 20 new retailers. Both SPS Commerce and Leadtec customers will benefit from the combined company’s industry-leading technology and growing retail trading community, which includes more than 80,000 trading partners in more than 60 countries.
